As a farrier I’m constantly cleaning the hooves of horses but one day while cleaning a horse’s hoof with a chronic thrush infection I accidentally flicked some particles into my eyes. I’ve been a fan of Vital Elements Colloidal Silver for years. As a trainer in the DFW area and as a horse owner I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand how well their products work. Several years ago I had a horse that was attacked in the pasture and had a cut on his leg that went to the bone causing a deep infection to settle in. After weeks of treatments the horse’s leg was still infected and not healing when I finally tried spraying it with their Colloidal Silver. Within a few days the infection was gone and it was finally healing. On another occasion one of my dressage horses suffered a deep puncture wound. One of my workers mistakenly injected the wound with a solution of iodine and formaldehyde. Needless to say this caused serious damage to the horse’s leg.
